The Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time clinician educator-track position available at the Assistant Professor level.
The position calls for a person who, through excellence in predoctoral clinical and didactic teaching, research and service, is able to build and maintain the department’s reputation nationally and internationally. The successful candidate will have extensive teaching experience and a record of research activities. He/She must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds in teaching and leadership.
The successful candidate must have completed a CODA-accredited advanced education program in Periodontics, have a DDS or DMD degree and be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. Clinical practice within the Penn Dental Medicine Family Practice is available.
