Fayetteville State University to Offer a New Online Degree Program in Accounting

Fayetteville State University, the historically Black educational institution in North Carolina, has announced that it is adding a new bachelor’s degree program in accounting that can be completed online. Fayetteville State is the only public university in the state of North Carolina to offer an online bachelor’s degree program in accounting.

Classes will begin this fall utilizing the online Canvas platform. The degree program will be administered by the School of Business and Economics at the university.

Students who successfully complete the online degree program will be able to pursue credentials as a certified public accountant, certified fraud examiner, certified internal auditor, or a certified global management accountant.
