The UC Davis Graduate School of Management (GSM) is recruiting for an Executive Director for the Masters of Science – Business Analytics (MSBA) Program. The MSBA is an innovative new program for the GSM that blends organizational effectiveness with data science skills and business knowledge. The program is offered in downtown San Francisco. The Executive Director will be responsible for establishing multi‐year strategic and tactical plans to expand program excellence, enhance the student experience, and ensure that the program remains innovative and relevant to the developing marketplace for business analytics talent. The Executive Director will advise and work closely with GSM faculty on all programmatic and operational matters related to the degree program. The Executive Director will monitor the effectiveness of the MSBA program by defining performance metrics and milestones, especially with respect to recruiting a diverse and high achieving student body, student academic progress throughout the program, and student career placement rates. The Executive Director will work closely with corporate partners to support recruitment, placement and the program’s cornerstone analytics projects. The MSBA Executive Director will teach in the program, with an expectation of four classes (120 contact hours) per year.

The School’s faculty members are globally renowned for their teaching excellence and trailblazing research in advancing management thinking. With prime locations in Northern California’s economic hubs, the School provides a bold, innovative approach to management education to about 100 full‐time MBA students at the UC Davis campus, 400 part‐time MBA students in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area, 60 students for the Master of Professional Accountancy program, and 45 students expected in the charter class for the Master of Science in Business Analytics.

Minimum Qualifications: A Masters or PhD (preferred) in a core business discipline and experience in higher education administration and teaching (graduate level preferred); must have the legal right to accept work in the United States.
Salary range: $160,000 – 180,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
