The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Rehabilitation Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation required.
Responsibilities include inpatient consultations and an outpatient practice. The pediatric physiatrist will work in collaboration with multiple pediatric specialists and rehabilitation therapists in multidisciplinary clinics. This position offers ample opportunity for patient care, teaching and research in a collegial environment of the highest caliber. This position includes the opportunity to teach medical students, residents and fellows in both clinical and academic settings. Potential leadership opportunities include medical directorship over the acute inpatient consult service, acute inpatient rehabilitation unit or outpatient clinical programs. Opportunities for research include collaboration with investigators at all Children’s Hospital locations.
