The University of Mississippi, Department of Leadership and Counselor Education, seeks applicants to fill a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in Educational Leadership at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Educational Leadership program offers M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees in K-12 Educational Leadership. These degrees meet the requirements for school administration licensure in the State of Mississippi. The licensure programs includes the Mississippi Principal Corps, an elite program with a full-time internship. The licensure programs are ELCC Standards- based programs focused on application of research-based best practices in school leadership. The K-12 Educational Leadership program offers a Ph.D. degree focused on research, scholarship, and leadership preparation and a new Ed.D. degree focused on practitioner development through applied problem-based learning.
