New Administrative Duties in Higher Education for Three African American Men

Sean Huddleston was appointed vice president for equity and inclusion at the University of Indianapolis, effective June 5. He has been serving as chief of diversity, inclusion, and community engagement at Framingham State University in Massachusetts.

Huddleston is a graduate of Sienna Heights University in Adrian, Michigan. He holds a master’s degree in adult and higher education from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan, and is currently studying for an educational doctorate at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan.

Allen Stanley was named interim associate vice chancellor for finance at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Since 2012, he has been serving as contract review manager in the university’s Office of Finance and Administration. He has been on the staff at the university since 1998.

Stanley holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Arkansas.

Ronnie Hopkins was appointed executive vice president for academic and student affairs and academic dean at Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina. He was a professor and founding dean of the Freshman Institute at Benedict College in Columbia, South Carolina.

Dr. Hopkins is a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, where he majored in English. He holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Michigan State University.
