In Memoriam: Courtney Salters Henderson, 1975-2017

Courtney Salters Henderson, director of student organizations at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, died on January 26 in Nashville. She was 41 years old.

A native of Tupelo, Mississippi, Salters Henderson joined the staff at Vanderbilt University in 1998 as an admissions counselor. In 2000, she was named assistant director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. In 2002, Salters Henderson was named assistant director of student organizations and governance within the Office of the Dean of Students. She was promoted to director of student organizations in 2005.

Salters Henderson was a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she majored in psychology. She earned an MBA at Belmont University in Nashville.
