The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical and school psychology with a focus on the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders and disruptive behavior disorders. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. License eligibility to practice in PA is required.
The successful applicant will have experience in the evaluation and treatment of anxiety disorders and disruptive behavior disorders. The faculty member will have extensive experience using cognitive behavioral interventions for the treatment of anxiety disorders and behavioral parent training for the treatment of disruptive behavior disorders. In addition, the faculty member will provide training and supervision to advanced trainees in psychology and child psychiatry, including a training rotation in behavioral parent training and Parent Child Interaction Therapy.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Applicants must have excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
