University of Wisconsin Oshkosh — Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership and Policy

The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks an Assistant Professor in Educational Leadership and Policy.

Implement and facilitate the necessary teaching activities within the Educational Leadership and Policy Department, especially in the field of Multicultural Education and Social Justice, which assist students and faculty in achieving program and licensure objectives. Primary responsibilities to the undergraduate teacher program with additional teaching at the graduate level.

The qualified candidate will have an earned doctorate (completed prior to August 2017) in Educational Foundations or a closely related area: a strong background in teaching, multiculturalism, commitment to diversity, and experience in k-12 schools

Experience teaching a diverse population of students in a higher education setting. Preferred candidate will also have experience in issues of social justice; a record of scholarship and defined research agenda; evidence of the ability to collaborate and work cooperatively with colleagues; and a demonstrated ability to work well with diverse constituencies both internal and external to the department, college, and university.

Terms of Appointment:
Renewable, academic year appointment with 1.0 FTE. This is a tenure track position.
