University of Wisconsin-Madison — Assistant Vice Provost / Chief Operating Officer, Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement

UW-Madison, recently ranked among the top ten public colleges in the nation by US News and World Report, is looking for an assistant vice provost to serve as the chief operating officer for the Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement.

The assistant vice provost/chief operating officer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement’s central office. Additionally, the assistant vice provost will also assist the vice provost and chief diversity officer (VPCDO) with crisis responses and represent the VPCDO on committees, boards, panels, and miscellaneous meetings and extramural events.

We seek a dynamic and engaging leader with a track record of success in a university or college or other large and complex organization. Experience in student, minority or academic affairs, as well was in supervision, human resources, finance and administrative support are also desirable.
