The University of South Carolina Upstate invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean of the School of Education. The School of Education is accredited by CAEP, and its professional preparation programs are approved by the South Carolina Department of Education and the respective professional organizations. The Dean is the chief administrative officer and academic leader of the School reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. For more information regarding the School, go to

Required: Earned doctorate from an accredited institution and qualify as a full professor in the School. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of three years of administrative experience at the department head, division head or center director level or above with five years preferred.
