University of Pennsylvania — Research Assistant Professor, Hematology Oncology

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.

The successful applicant will have experience in the field of platelet biology, particularly in studying platelet activation mechanisms. Experience working with transgenic mice and mouse models of hemostasis and thrombosis is also required.

The position requires a minimum of four years of postdoctoral research experience. Independent research funding is not required to obtain this position, but obtaining funding once in the position is expected.
