Plans, develops, and implements programs, activities and services that contribute to success for racial and ethnic minority students, contributes to the cultural competence of all students, and promotes an understanding of multicultural education in the University community; contributes to the education of all students to ensure that they are prepared to live and work successfully in a diverse world; contributes to the maintenance of a campus environment that is welcoming and supportive of racial and ethnic minority students; promotes success for racial and ethnic minority students; and aligns efforts with University and division missions and strategic plans to enhance diversity and inclusion.
Master’s degree plus at least three years of experience developing programming and services for student populations required. Knowledge of current issues and best practices of multicultural education, diversity and inclusion also required. Experience in personnel management; experience managing and developing budgets; knowledge of student development theory and applied practice; and experience in program and event planning preferred. Criminal and other relevant background checks required.
