The Ohio State University — Faculty, Scientific Computation

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill a faculty position, rank open, in the area of Scientific Computation. The ideal candidate can easily communicate and collaborate with faculty members working in other research areas that are currently represented in the Mathematics Department at The Ohio State University. It is expected that this faculty member will be significantly engaged with the graduate and undergraduate programs in the Mathematics Department (e.g. directing PhD, Master’s theses, and/or directing undergraduate research).

Requirements: A doctoral degree in Mathematics in the area of Scientific Computation is required at the time of application.  He or she will show evidence of excellence in teaching and research.  Appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
