The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Analysis, Combinatorics, Number Theory, Probability or Topology. The ideal candidate can easily communicate and collaborate with faculty members working in other research areas that are currently represented in the Mathematics Department at The Ohio State University. It is expected that this faculty member will be significantly engaged with the graduate and undergraduate programs in the Mathematics Department (e.g. directing PhD, Master’s theses, and/or directing undergraduate research).
Requirements: A doctoral degree in Mathematics is required at the time of application. The ideal candidate will have an excellent research record in the area of Analysis, Combinatorics, Number Theory, Probability or Topology and evidence of strong teaching ability. Appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
