University of Pennsylvania — Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, Dermatology

The Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine seeks highly qualified candidates for faculty positions in both clinician educator and academic clinician (non-tenure) tracks at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and be board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.  Strong interest in cutaneous oncology preferred.

Academic Clinician Track:  Applicants will focus primarily on clinical care and education.  Responsibilities include providing patient care and teaching in the fields of dermatology and cutaneous oncology. The successful candidate will join our current team of highly respected dermatologists and serve as an integral member of the Penn Dermatology Oncology Center.  A passion for teaching residents and fellows and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Clinician Educator Track:  Applicants will focus on clinical care, research, and education.  Responsibilities include providing patient care, teaching, and research in the fields of dermatology and cutaneous oncology.  The successful candidate will be expected to perform collaborative research or be a research leader and to obtain research funding once in the position.  The successful candidate will join our current team of highly respected dermatologists and serve as an integral member of the Penn Dermatology Oncology Center.  A passion for teaching residents and fellows and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Candidates for both tracks are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching and clinical care.  Evidence of translational/clinical research training and scholarship is required to be considered for the clinician-educator track.
