University of Pennsylvania — Associate Professor (Clinician Educator Track), Youth Depression

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of clinical child and school psychology. Expertise in the specific area of youth depression is required. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research. License eligibility to practice in PA is required.

The successful applicant will have expertise developing and evaluating preventative interventions for depression and identifying moderators and mediators of depression intervention outcomes. The candidate should have an in-depth understanding of vulnerabilities for youth depression to inform preventive and treatment interventions. The faculty member will also be responsible for the clinical training of psychiatry and psychology trainees, research mentorship, and the promotion of clinical research activities across the department.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, and fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Applicants must have excellent qualifications in research, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
