The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Women’s Reproductive Behavioral Health with a focus on Psychoneuroendocrinology, Psychophysiology, and Psychoneuroimmunology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Must be licensed in the State of Pennsylvania at the time of application.
The Penn Center for Women’s Behavioral Wellness and Penn PROMOTES Research on Sex and Gender in Health is seeking to hire a psychologist with research funding (federal or foundation) and clinical expertise in women’s reproductive behavioral health. the individual must have experience managing a psychophysiology laboratory, including training research coordinators in the acquisition and analysis of acoustic startle data using several different acoustic startle paradigms. Other responsibilities include supervision and mentorship of undergraduates and medical student interns as well as the didactic curriculum for the Center’s Summer Research Intensive. This position will require that the individual spend at least 75% of their effort on research and up to 25% effort towards clinical care and/or teaching/supervision. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in psychoneuroimmunology research.
