The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical psychology and neuropsychology with a focus on neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents at various stages of cancer. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. License eligibility to practice in PA is required.
The successful applicant will have experience in neuropsychology evaluations, specifically individuals at various stages of diagnosis and treatment for cancer. The faculty member will have a central role in the development of assessment programs for children and adolescents with histories of neuroblastoma and treatment with blood and bone marrow transplant. The faculty member will provide evidence-based, developmentally-sensitive neuropsychological assessments for patients within the Division of Oncology. In addition, the faculty member will provide training and supervision to advanced trainees in psychology and psychiatry. Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, and fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Applicants must have excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The ability to provide neuropsychological assessments in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
