The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical child psychology and neuropsychology with a focus on early childhood assessment of children with autism spectrum disorders and metabolic diseases. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. License eligibility to practice in PA is required.
The successful applicant will have expertise in neuropsychology with a specialization in the early diagnosis of autism spectrum disorders and the evaluation of children with metabolic diseases. The faculty member will serve as a lead clinician in the Center for Autism Research (CAR) in addition to being involved with the Outpatient Neuropsychology and Assessment Service. Responsibilities also include supervision of psychology and psychiatry trainees.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. from an APA-accredited doctoral program and pre-doctoral internship, post-doctoral training in research and clinical practice, fulfill criteria for licensure in PA. Applicants must have excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
