The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on consultation liaison psychiatry and emergency psychiatry. Responsibilities include serving as medical director of the Medical Behavioral Unit and leadership in the Post Pediatric Portal Training Program. The faculty member will have a particular focus on patients served in the adolescent medicine service, including youth with eating disorders, depression, anxiety, delirium, and post-suicide attempts. The faculty member will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including the adolescent medicine team, child psychiatrists, psychologists, pediatricians, and clinical social workers. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is required.
Applicants must have an M.D. degree, board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry, eligibility for PA licensure, and excellent qualifications in education, clinical care, and clinical administration.
