The Division of Natural & Health Sciences at Seton Hill University invites applications for a faculty position in Computer Science, starting August 2017. Applicants must have a strong interest in liberal arts education at the undergraduate level. Ph.D. preferred and required for tenure, will consider applicants with a Masters degree and professional experience.
Responsibilities include: teaching introductory through upper-level computer science or cybersecurity courses, facilitating and supervising internships, student-involved research, academic advising, and committee service. The ideal candidate will possess a background or interest in programming, systems analysis, software engineering, algorithms, mobile technologies, and cybersecurity.
Seton Hill is a Catholic, liberal arts university located 35 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. The University offers its 2,200 students 80 + undergraduate plus 8 graduate-degree programs and serves both traditional-age and adult student populations.
