Seton Hill University’s Division of Education is accepting applications for a faculty position as Director of Field Placement for Fall 17.
A Doctorate in Education or related field is preferred and required for tenure track. Certification in Secondary Education is required. Teaching experience in PreK-12 and higher education, familiarity with state and national quality initiatives, demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining data systems and or analytical tools as it relates to national accreditation and Pennsylvania Department of Education reporting requirements are required. The successful candidate will also be able to support and work collaboratively with all divisions and program areas to ensure implementation of recommendations based upon student assessment results, and will possess strong instructional technology skills. Other skills include: ability to work collaboratively with PreK-12 school personnel, knowledge of various PreK-12 school organizations and procedures both public and private, and knowledge of current PA certification and hiring procedures.
