Pacific University invites nominations and applications for the position of Dean, College of Business.

Pacific University, located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, is a diverse learning community offering a unique combination of undergraduate, graduate and professional programs offered through the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, College of Health Professions, and the College of Optometry. Today, Pacific University serves more than 3,500 students on its campuses in Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Woodburn and Eugene, and also operates a variety of healthcare clinics in the greater Portland area.

Founded in 2013, the College of Business strives to fortify Pacific University’s reputation as an institution that promotes interdisciplinary endeavors anchored in a strong liberal arts foundation. The College is quickly evolving and is focusing its energy on enhancing its curriculum and fostering program growth in order to pursue specialized accreditation. Currently, the College offers undergraduate programs and graduate programs to prepare students to lead in a global society.

Pacific University seeks a highly collaborative and visionary academic leader who will work closely with faculty, staff and University administration, in a shared governance environment, to guide the operational and strategic performance of the College of Business. The Dean will be responsible for strategic planning, external relations and fundraising; academic and programmatic support; fiscal and budget management; personnel and faculty affairs; and enrollment and student affairs.
