The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Gynecologic Oncology. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, research, and clinical care. Candidate must be BC/BE in Ob/Gyn and BC/BE and subspecialty trained in Gynecologic Oncology.
The successful candidates will join an established Division of Gynecologic Oncology at PENN Medicine; a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and investigators. The division has well-established clinical programs at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital and Chester County Hospital, a fellowship training program, and research programs in population science, immunotherapy and molecular targeted therapy. Candidates will be expected to teach gyn oncology fellows, Ob/Gyn residents and medical students. Candidates should have excellent surgical skills including minimally invasive surgery and experience in translational/clinical research and clinical trials. The division is a member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group (GOG/NRG). Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be considered for a Women’s Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) career development award.
