The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in both the non-tenure academic-clinician track and the non-tenure academic clinician track. Academic rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Candidate must be board certified in Ob/Gyn and subspecialty trained and board certified in maternal fetal medicine. Candidates should be proficient in obstetrical ultrasound.
Successful candidates will join the established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine with clinical programs at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Chester County Hospital and a network of satellite practices in New Jersey. The division has a fellowship program and a Maternal and Child Health Research Program supporting basic, translational and clinical research. The division is one of the NICHD MFM Unit sites and home to one of five March of Dimes Prematurity Research Centers. Candidates will participate in teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participate in patient safety and quality initiatives.

Clinician Educator track
Evidence of translational/clinical research training and scholarship is required to be considered for the clinician-educator track. Individuals with an interest in a mentored research experience may be considered for a Women’s Reproductive Health Research (WRHR) career development award.
