The Department of Cell and Developmental Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the tenure track. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
Applicants must have achieved outstanding success in an area of cell biology research, applying state-of-the-art methods that include some combination of cutting-edge microscopy, live imaging, genetic, genomic, biochemical or computational approaches. Of particular interest are applicants who study fundamental cellular processes in an animal context.
Successful candidates are expected to develop independent, federally funded research programs, and express a strong commitment to the graduate and medical education missions of our Department. More information about the Department can be found at http://cdb.med.upenn.edu/.
