DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Serves as lead administrator to facilitate the college’s institutional research, innovation, & excellence programs & initiatives. Supports strategic planning efforts & evidence-based decision making w/the President & President’s Cabinet. As chair of the Institutional Effectiveness Committee, the Director guides the ongoing implementation of the college’s comprehensive Institutional Effectiveness Plan. Responsible for college-wide collection, organization, analysis & reporting of all institutional data & serves as the key resource to the President’s Cabinet for essential information & data to establish & address institutional priorities, assess institutional performance & improve institutional outcomes. Master’s degree required (doctorate preferred) in institutional research, statistics, higher education, educational administration or related areas. Minimum 5 yrs directly-related work experience in institutional research, preferably in a higher education setting. Evidence of the ability to collaborate on cross-divisional, institution-wide projects.
COORDINATOR OF DATA AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSESSMENT: Under the direction of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, the Coordinator will: collaborate on service area assessment planning & program review; conduct research & analysis for internal reporting; complete research requests for college stakeholders; provide in-depth analytical & statistical summaries in support of policy development & decision making; prepare & maintain project documentation. Master’s degree in social sciences, education, or research methods required. Master’s in research methods or statistics preferred. Must have 9 or more credit hours of research methods at the graduate level. Two years’ experience using research skills, in the college environment preferred. Experience w/data management systems such as Banner, Peoplesoft or Ellucian. Demonstrated facility w/MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated facility w/statistical analysis packages, preferably SPSS. Strong research & analytical skills & trained to write surveys.
