Five African Americans Appointed to New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

dunnTimothy Dunn has been promoted to Title IX coordinator at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He had been serving as associate director of student services for social houses at the college. He is the former director of Greek life at Union College in Schenectady, New York, where he taught undergraduate law courses.

Dunn is a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

hearnEboney Hearn was promoted to executive director of the Office of Engineering Outreach Programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has been serving as assistant dean for graduate education and diversity initiatives in the Office of the Dean of Graduate Education.

Hearn is a graduate of MIT, where she majored in chemical engineering. She holds a master’s degree in education from Harvard University.

guilloryLatonya Guillory was appointed director of affirmative action, equal employment opportunity at the University of Southern Mississippi. She is a former equal employment opportunity officer for Baton Rouge Community College and the Louisiana Workforce Commission.

Dr. Guillory is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she majored in political science and international studies. She earned a master of public administration degree and a Ph.D. in public policy from Southern University in Baton Rouge.

Tracy_DildyTracy Dildy was named interim director of athletics at Chicago State University in Illinois. He has been serving and will continue to serve as the head coach for the men’s basketball team at the university.

Dildy is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he majored in physical education.

gcaldwell150Getchel L. Caldwell was appointed senior vice president for institutional advancement at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia. He has been serving as vice chancellor for advancement at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina. Caldwell also served as executive director of the Fayetteville State University Foundation.

Caldwell is a graduate of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee and holds a master of public administration degree from Atlanta University.
