Three African American Women Named to University Administrative Posts

DrGreenPowellPatricia Green-Powell is the inaugural director of the Brooksville Agricultural Educational Research Station of Florida A&M University. The university is using the 3,800-acre site for research on subtropical fruits and animals. Dr. Green-Powell is the former interim dean of the College of Education at the university and has been on the faculty since 2003.

Dr. Green-Powell is a graduate of Florida A&M University. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in educational leadership and administration from Florida State University.

Gresham, Pamela Mosley 200Pamela Mosley Gresham was appointed director of human resources at Delaware State University in Dover. She was the associate director of human resources at Kean University in Union, New Jersey.

Gresham is a graduate of the University at Buffalo of the State University of New York System, where she majored in criminal justice. She holds a juris doctorate from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

angela-winfieldAngela Winfield was promoted to director of inclusion and workforce diversity in the Division of Human Resources at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She has been serving as program manager at the Yang-Tan Institute on Employment and Disability at Cornell.

Winfield is a graduate of Barnard College in New York City and Cornell Law School.
