Craig Boise Named the Next Dean of the College of Law at Syracuse University

Craig_M._Boise_thumbCraig M. Boise was named dean of the College of Law at Syracuse University in New York. Since 2011, he has been serving as dean of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in Ohio. He will become dean at Syracuse in July.

Before becoming dean at Cleveland State University, Professor Boise was director of the Graduate Tax Program and professor of law at DePaul University in Chicago. Earlier, he was a member of the faculty at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.

Professor Boise is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he majored in political science. He holds a juris doctorate from the University of Chicago Law School. He also earned a master’s degree in law from New York University.
