Two New Executives at the National Society of Black Engineers

NSBEThe National Society of Black Engineers has named two new executives. The society was founded in 1975 and is one of the largest student-governed organizations in the United States. The society has more than 31,000 members in more than 300 chapters worldwide. The mission of the society is “to increase the number of culturally responsible Black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community.”

thompsonConstance Thompson was named director of external and government affairs at the National Society of Black Engineers. She was senior manager for diversity and inclusion for the American Society of Civil Engineers. Thompson is the former manager for diversity program at the American Chemical Society. She is a graduate of Virginia State University.

Stanton-hillStanton Hill is the new director of finance and accounting at the society. He was a senior business analyst at the United Negro College Fund. Hill is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, where he majored in business administration management. He earned an MBA  in innovative entrepreneurship and high technology from Northeastern University in Boston.
