The Next Dean of the College of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University

daireAndrew P. Daire has been selected to be the next dean of the School of Education at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. He will take office on June 1.

Currently, Dr. Daire is the associate dean for research in the College of Education at the University of Houston. Before joining the faculty at the University of Houston, Dr. Daire served for 14 years on the faculty in the College of Education and Human Performance at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Dr. Daire holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He earned a Ph.D. in counseling psychology and school psychology at Florida State University.
