The Next Dean of the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University

collins_airhihenbuwaCollins O. Airhihenbuwa will be the next dean of the College for Public Health and Social Justice at Saint Louis University in Missouri. He will become dean on January 1.

Dr. Airhihenbuwa currently serves as chair of the department of biobehavioral health in the College of Health and Human Development at Pennsylvania State University. Professor Airhihenbuwa has served on the faculty at Penn State for more than 30 years. He also serves as director of the Pan-University Network for Global Health, a consortium of 13 American and foreign universities.

Dr. Airhihenbuwa is the co-editor of Ethnicity: Theories, International Perspectives and Challenges (Nova Science Publishers, 2013) and the author of Healing Our Differences: The Crisis of Global Health and the Politics of Identity (Rowman and Littlefield Publishers, 2007).

Dr. Airhihenbuwa is a graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville. He holds a master of public health degree and a Ph.D. in public health administration from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
