Howard University’s New Provost and Chief Academic Officer

Wutoh photoAnthony K. Wutoh was promoted to provost and chief academic officer at Howard University in Washington, D.C. He has been serving as dean of the College of Pharmacy and associate provost for international programs at the university.

Dr. Wutoh joined the faculty at Howard University in 1996 as an assistant professor. He has served as director of the Center for Minority Health Services Research and director of the Center of Excellence, an academic unit funded by the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration.

Dr. Wutoh is a graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where he majored in biochemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in pharmacy practice and administration from the University of Maryland.
