howard-university-logoHoward University, Arizona State University, and the Chrysler Corporation have announced the establishment of the Supply Chain Management Leadership Exchange and Internship Program. Under the agreement, two students from each university will participate at an internship program in supply chain management at Chrysler during the summer months.

This fall the students will continue their studies in supply chain management at the other educational institution in the partnership. Chrysler will pay for the students’ educational costs and living expenses during their semester as an exchange student.

“Supply chain has emerged as a key strategic discipline in the last few years because of what we’ve been through,” said Eric Williams, associate director of the Center for Excellence in Supply Chain Management at the Howard University School of Business. “The companies that do a really good job of partnering with a small number of universities and going deep with them are doing better at attracting talent.”
