Sandra Bibb Named Dean of the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University

General PortraitsSandra C. Garmon Bibb was named dean of the College of Health Professions at Wichita State University in Kansas. Since August 2011, Dr. Bibb has been associate dean for faculty affairs at the Graduate School of Nursing of the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.

“I am both honored and enthused to become part of the College of Health Professions team, as it leads change in healthcare education in the 21st century,” said Dr. Bibb. “I look forward to joining the strong inter-professional education and collaborative practice efforts already under way in the College of Health Professions at WSU and in the Wichita community to improve the health of the people of Kansas.”

Dr. Bibb earned bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in nursing, all from the University of San Diego.
