HBCU Football Coming to the Bahamas

hbcuxlogo172xThis fall two historically Black colleges and universities will square off in an intercollegiate football game in the Bahamas. HBCUX, the recently launched digital media network and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism are co-sponsoring what will be called the Bahamas HBCUX Classic.

The game between Central State University of Ohio and Texas Southern University will be played in Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau on Saturday September 13. The weekend’s events will include a Battle of the Band competition and a tailgate concert preceding the game.

HBCUX is a subscription based television network offering sports, education, and entertainment programing. A portion of subscription income is used to endow a scholarship fund to benefit students attending HBCUs.
