Cheyney University Signs Agreement With a University in Rwanda

bannernew1Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, a historically Black educational institution that is one of 14 campuses of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, has signed an memorandum of understanding with the Institut Polytechnque de Byumba, a private educational institution in Rwanda.

mudacamoraThe agreement calls for the two universities to collaborate on an aquaculture project that will enhance fish and food production in Rwanda. In addition, students in Rwanda will be able to enroll in an online master of public administration degree program that will be under the direction of Gedeon Mudacumura, a professor at Cheyney University and a native of Rwanda.
