Jacqueline A. Faulkner is the new vice chancellor for student affairs at Arkansas State University Newport. She was the assistant vice president for retention management and advising services at Kentucky State University in Frankfort. Earlier in her career, Faulkner was the director of the Center for Academic Retention and Enrichment Services at the University of Memphis.
Faulkner is a graduate of Jackson State University in Mississippi, where she majored in English. She holds a master’s degree in leadership and policy studies and has completed coursework for an educational doctorate at the University of Memphis.
Lori Baker-Lloyd was named executive director for University Organizational and Professional Development at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg. She has been serving as vice president for global human resources programs at the Bank of N. T. Butterfield in Bermuda.
A native of Roanoke, Virginia, Baker-Lloyd is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Brian K. Jordan was appointed executive director for safety and security and chief of police at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Jordan has 27 years of experience with the Metropolitan Police Force in Washington, most recently as assistant police chief.
Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Howard University in 1982.
