  1. I haven’t seen the documentary in its entirety, but I do wonder if it includes information regarding a gregarious and ambitious young black man who grew up in Four Oaks, North Carolina, graduated from Atlanta’s Morehouse College, then went West to Kansas State to earn his PhD in Chemistry and returned to Atlanta to ultimately become a celebrated V.P. at Georgia State U. in Atlanta and is celebrated there this day. His widow currently resides in Atlanta.
His name is Cleon Curtis Arrington.

  2. Wow, Dr Arrington was chairman of the dept of Chemistry when I was at Morehouse and I graduated under his leadership at the dept. I also did research in chemistry at the dept with him while I was there. Small world.
