The summit brought high school students from all parts of the state to campus for a six-hour program that discussed how race and class shape the educational experiences of American youth.

The program included lectures, interactive activities, panels, and performances. The summit was organized by Dr. Raphael Rogers, a visiting assistant professor of education at the university.
