Post-Racial Society? Think Again

gradcap-diploma-thumbAmerican Renaissance, a White supremacist website, recently posted two articles from JBHE on Black student college graduation rates. American Renaissance simply posted the articles and asked their readers to comment. What spewed forth was a vast amount of ignorance and racial hate.

Here are a few examples:

“If most blacks weren’t taking a basket weaving curriculum (aka black studies, community development, etc…) then their graduation rate would be around 7%.”

“I also know from experience that there are ‘affirmative action’ graduates, who would have a hard time obtaining high school graduation in a white neighborhood school.”

“I would bet 8th grade white students are smarter than those blacks that are ‘graduating.'”

“I can only imagine the things they graduate in…Finally, synthetic watermelon.”
