Paine College Makes Two Major Appointments to Its Leadership Team

Paine PaineLogoCollege, the historically Black educational institution in Augusta, Georgia, has announced the appointment of two men to leadership positions in the school’s administration.

SamSullivanSamuel Sullivan was appointed provost and vice president of academic affairs. He has been serving in the posts on an interim basis since March. Dr. Sullivan is the former vice president of academic affairs at Augusta State University.

Dr. Sullivan is a graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham. He holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in physics from Howard University in Washington, D.C.

EdPatrickEdward Patrick was named vice president of administrative and fiscal affairs. He was associate vice president and controller at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia.

A certified public accountant, Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and sociology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a master’s degree in accountancy from DePaul University in Chicago.
