The New Dean of the Business School at Elizabeth City State University

KNwalaKingsley Nwala was named dean of the Walter R. Davis School of Business and Economics at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina. He served as interim dean at the business school during the 2012-13 academic year. He previously served as chair of the department of business administration and chair of the department of accounting. Before joining the faculty at Elizabeth City State University, Dr. Nwala was an economic analyst for the U.S. Congressional Research Services.

Dr. Nwala holds bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of the District of Columbia. He earned a Ph.D. in economics from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
