David Adewuyi Promoted to Full Professor at Virginia Union University

adewuyiDavid A. Adewuyi was promoted to full professor of English education at Virginia Union University in Richmond. Professor Adewuyi also serves as director of the Center for International Studies and coordinator of the Secondary Education Program at the university.

Dr. Adewuyi joined the faculty at Virginia Union University in 2009. He previously served on the faculty at Albany State University in Georgia.

A native of Nigeria, Professor Adewuyi earned a degree in English from what is now Obafemi Awolowo University. He holds a master’s degree in language arts from the University of Ibadan and a doctorate in English education from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
