University of Memphis VP Honored for Addressing Multicultural Issues in Psychology

rosiebinghamRosie Phillips Bingham, vice president of student affairs at the University of Memphis, was named Distinguished Elder by the National Multicultural Conference and Summit.  The award recognizes individuals for their efforts in addressing multicultural issues in the field of psychology. She will be presented the award at the organization’s annual meeting in Houston in January.

Bingham has been on the staff at the University of Memphis since 1985. Prior taking on her current role as vice president for student affairs in 2003, she served as assistant vice president for student development.
