Thomas Coley to Oversee More Campuses of Ivy Tech Community College

Coley-webThomas G. Coley, chancellor of the North Central region of Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana, was given additional responsibilities as interim chancellor of the college’s Northwest region. The Northwest region includes campuses in Gary, East Chicago, Valparaiso, and Michigan City, Indiana. More than 16,000 students are enrolled at these four campuses.

Dr. Coley joined the administration at Ivy Tech Community College in 2011. Previously, he served as president of Scott Community College in Iowa. Prior to the post, he was vice president of instruction and student services at Black Hawk College in Moline, Illinois.

Dr. Coley is a graduate of Minnesota State University in Moorhead. He holds a master’s degree and a doctorate in educational administration from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
