Delaware State University Posts Record Enrollment

For the third year in a row, historically Black Delaware State University in Dover has set a new record for enrollments. This fall, there are 4,425 students on campus. The previous record was 4,178 students last fall. There is a record number of undergraduate students (3,955) and a record number of graduate students (470).

There are 1,041 new first-year students on campus this fall. This is just short of last year’s record of 1,085 first-year students.

The university reports that the average grade point averages and SAT scores of incoming students are also at record highs.

    We look forward to the continued growth toward a world class university in Dover.
