The New Dean of the College of Education at the New York Institute of Technology

Satasha L. Green was appointed dean of the School of Education at the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury. Her appointment takes effect on August 15. Dr. Green has been serving as associate dean and associate professor of counseling and special education at the University of Alaska at Anchorage. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Alaska, Dr. Green served on the faculty at Buffalo State College.

Dr. Green is a graduate of Texas A&M University Kingsville. She holds a master’s degree in sociology and a doctorate in multicultural special education from the University of Texas at Austin.
